why I'm awake at three in the morning

As I lie here watching my roommates watch "the fellowship of the ring" and wishing they would just go to sleep already, it occurs to me once more just how odd my life truly is.

Sex. Life.

If sex (i.e. procreation) is the purpose of life,
and life is the opposite of death,
and after death come heaven or hell;

Then if sex is like heaven,
Blue tubes must be what hell feels like.
